Early 2.2 SD4 diesels are PSA/Ford-related. From late 2015, Evoque engines shifted to JLR’s Ingenium family, made in-house.
Depending on year and spec, Evoque models use 2.2-litre turbo diesel (early cars) or 2.0-litre Ingenium petrol and diesel engines. Check your VIN for exact engine options and engine model.
Use oil that meets the official JLR spec for your engine. Many 2.0 Ingenium diesels specify SAE 0W-30 meeting STJLR.03.5007. Some newer 2.0 models specify SAE 0W-20 meeting STJLR 51.5122. Always check your handbook or the JLR owner info site for your VIN.
